Ray Smucker Park has a very nice, new playground (since July 2025) on a bed of woodchips. It's a far walk from the parking lot, but worth it. First, there are regular swings for kids and babies (no shade - we could really use a shade structure here, please), then a roller coaster-like swing and rope swing on a track (no shade), then a jungle gym with slides that is mostly covered by a shade structure. With supervision, toddlers can climb the stairs and walk up the ramp to the slides. Older kids enjoy climbing and hanging from the obstacles and pushing each other on the coaster swing. There is one concrete bench under a tree (we need more benches closer to the play equipment, please). There's also a paved path around the playground that runners like to use.

Nice playground for the kids. Track and exercise machines are great for adults.

Most of it is blocked off cause of construction. So it's just a tiny park with a bunch of families not wheelchair accessible from the street got to park and unload. Was excited to finally find a "park" in Yuma but it's torn up for some decade long government project just like the rest of town.

We're in Yuma for a month and found this great park. Two mile jog each day. The track is exactly 1 mile in circumference. Nice cement path, long and gentle slopes up and down are great for interval training. Everyday so far (Feb, 2020) we've had great breezes and temps in the 70s.

Very nice clean park. 1 mile walking path all around the park. Workout stations along the way. Nice playground for the kids. Facilities and water fountains available. Lots of shade and open spaces. Ramadas available for reserve.
